Video:All the Children Sing. Todd Rundgren Live w/ Akron and Youth Symphony 8-31-2013
This is the first I've seen this song in a live context since the Back To The Bars shows in L.A.'78'. That was the early days of video presentation & live 'support'. 2TVs stacked on each side of the stage gave the crowd different perspectives of the graphics, live shots & the unique video of this title. Charming stuff as well as technicly groundbreaking. From: Circle-H To:The H-Bomb
I have a strange feeling I have seen the video you mention but can't think where. Certainly not at that time, but later. Wish I'd been around to see that show in 78.
I have seen this video on YouTube Pretty cartoon-like by today's standards. As ever we can count on TR using technology in/of the moment & making something beyond standard entertainment...then move on to the next project. This home- made piece is years ahead of the start of MTV. That's when Musician's management found a director & film crew to set the band into (with varying degrees of musician concepts & technical partisipation). The vast majority of bands never MADE a video. They were IN them. From, Greendale
