Rundgren Radio Special Edition TONIGHT with special guest TODD RUNDGREN! Wednesday 8:30pm ET 4/25/2012 at www.RundgrenRadio.com (click LISTEN)

We'll be talking with Todd about all sorts of exciting happenings including the upcoming orchesTRa shows, Ringo tour, Ethel tour, and more. Following our conversation with Todd, we will be making announcements including details about the Rundgren Radio Family Reunion Party which is being held the night before the orchesTRA concerts in Rockford, IL. If you are somehow out of the loop on the orchesTRa shows and party just visit http://www.orchesTRaShows.com. The party and the concerts in Rockford this year will be replacing our annual trek to Akron OH so don't miss going to Rockford if you are waiting for an Akron party and show this year.

In case you missed the sad news, Levon Helm lost his battle with his cancer on April 19th. He was 71. Levon played drums on some of the songs on Todd's RUNT album and was in the band, the Band, which had an album produced by Todd. RIP Levon Helm.

This is the LAST WEEK to watch the webcast of the Todd Rundgren Unpredictable concert held at the City Winery in New York. The weblink is www.ToddRundgrenWebcast.com and the price is only $19.95. Check out the video trailer for this webcast at http://www.nevessa.com/trutrailer.html.

Have you ever thought to yourself, "Man, I'd sure like to own some Rundgren Radio merchandise"? Probably not, but we've made it available anyway :-)! Check out our new storefront site and do some shopping if you're in the mood ...

http://www.RundgrenRadio2.com

100% of any profits go to Todd & Michele Rundgren via the Todd Store. If you haven't seen the new Todd Store, you can check it out at http://www.ToddStore.com.

Todd has added some more tour dates before the orchesTRa shows and before he goes on the road with that Beatles guy including stops in Cleveland OH, State College PA, and Evanston IL (near Chicago, both shows SOLD OUT). For all the latest and greatest on Todd's tour dates, please visit http://www.rundgrenradio.com/toddtours.html where you can also get a free download of the Todd Rundgren with the Metropole Orchestra concert held in Amsterdam last year.

The DVD from the Todd Rundgren concert featuring the Healing album will be available very soon in June! You can pre-order it from DeepDiscount.com, Amazon.com, or email toddstore@yahoo.com. The DVD will also include the 2nd half of Todd's interview with award winning interviewer Roy Firestone. The reviews for the Todd album DVD have been stellar and if you still don't have it check the 3 vendors mentioned previously.

A new official "bootleg" CD has been released by the folks that brought us the 3 CD Box Set, Todd Rundgren: For Lack Of Honest Work. The latest is the Todd Rundgren's Utopia concert from 1975 held at the Hammersmith Odeon. Unofficial bootlegs of this show have been floating around for years but not with the same high quality mix as this version plus two songs from the concert have been added, "Couldn't I Just Tell You" and "Do 'Ya". You can purchase this CD at DeepDiscount.com or Amazon.com.

Todd's upcoming "Revival Camp" has received a lot of press lately and spots are still open if you'd like to attend. Here's the link to register: http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07e5i3bh4783f797dd&llr=xzxuy6dab

Some of the press Todd's received for the camp include a video compliments of RollingStone.com. In fact, they've put out a few of these Todd videos on different topics like Laura Nyro, American Bandstand, and Levon Helm. Hopefully we will see some more in the future. Check them out at ... http://www.rollingstone.com/search?q=todd+rundgren&x=31&y=14 and while you're at it don't forget Bill Bricker's latest campaign for a Rolling Stone ad featuring the 40th Anniversary of Todd's album, Something/Anything? - info available at Toddata.com.

Longtime Todd fan and collector Mike Adrian was smart enough to grab Todd Rundgren's name on Twitter and nice enough to hand it over to the Rundgren's when they were ready to use it. Michele has taken it over and has been pretty active posting info while touring with Todd recently including some cool photos of Todd at The Alamo and downtown New Orleans. You can follow the tweets at twitter.com/#!/toddrundgren.

Ever wonder what Utopian Willie Wilcox is up to these days? Find out here ... http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/apr/21/rock-stage-slots-audio-producer-aims-improve-sound/ and then check out this video ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLudGBThi6M.

Speaking of Utopians, Kasim Sulton will be touring as the bass player for Blue Oyster Cult later this year! Be sure to check them out if they visit your town and don't forget to ask for more cowbell!

Have you read any hooplah about the Tupac "hologram" Coachella appearance this month? If not, here's some info and the video ... http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1683173/tupac-hologram-coachella.jhtml. So, what does this have to do with Todd Rundgren? He did something like this over 30 years ago ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-12kcYkL-k.

If you're interested in our concert world outside of the Todd gigs, check out our events page at http://www.onwardpromotions.com/events.html. We're doing gigs this year with several new wave bands and even heavy metal bands so if you are into either of those genres we hope to see you at some of the shows. If you don't like the music but we are in your town maybe you can least meet up with us before the show for a quick beverage or some food - we'd love to see ya!
