Strike is what AC/DC does best.
Courage is what Todd does best, great melody, vocals, harmonic guitar lead,etc. One of his best songs of the last 10 or 15 years.
I wouldn't label it as a ballad. Maybe compared to most of the songs on Arena it is! And I do really like the whole album.
That's my two cents and I'm sticking to it!
Once again Todd has outdone himself with all his music.. You cant put him in a box... and that is why I love him.. I had a hard time choosing Manup for best..and wondered if I should change it..go figure.. Strike.. although not my type of Todd.. is awesome in it's own right..
I can’t believe that poll. But then again, knowing Todd Rundgren fan’s as I do.
Dreadful album. One standout track - Today.
Listening to Todd has always been a chasing the dragon experience for me. He hooked me with 'I Saw The Light' and 'Can We Still Be Friends'. An elevated feeling of endorphin rush. Like when you hear 'Fair Warning' or when he screams 'When you need a friend' in the tag of 'Love Is The Answer' and chills just rip up and down your spine. To me, 'Courage' is that mainline fix I've been waiting for. The magic is back!
