3 videos from the RA fundraiser this past year.

Daniel Harple 10:41am Jan 30

Proud to "release" three videos produced by my daughters Miranda Harple and Laurel Harple, shot over the course of the setup and show at Treetops. The sound is high quality, directly from the sound board, coupled with an interesting and beautiful video production. (Yes, I guess I have a bias for my daughters...., and, Todd's spirit!).

Please experience the show intro and "Soul Brother," from the Treetops RA pyramid-

Ringo Starr 2012 show at historic Ryman coming to DVD

Ringo Starr's 72nd birthday show last July 7 with his All-Starr Band at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium will be released on DVD March 19, it was announced Tuesday.
Ringo's set list on the DVD features Beatles songs, including “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Don't Pass Me By,” “Act Naturally,” “I Wanna Be Your Man” and “Yellow Submarine” and solo tunes including “Photograph” and “I'm the Greatest.”
This version of the All-Starr Band, which spans several musical decades, features Steve Lukather of Toto, Richard Page of Mr. Mister, Gregg Rolie from Journey and Santana, Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera, who's worked often with Billy Joel, and drummer Gregg Bissonette. The band members' contributions on the DVD include “Rosanna,” “Black Magic Woman,” “Kyrie Eleison” and “Bang the Drum All Day.”
The show also had a little help from some friends. Joe Walsh, Ringo's brother-in-law, makes a special guest appearance to play “Rocky Mountain Way” and is joined for the encore, “With A Little Help From My Friends,” by his daughter Lucy. Also joining in were former All-Starr Band members Felix Cavaliere and Richard Marx and Nashville cats Brendan Benson, Kix Brooks, Gary Burr, Vince Gil and Brad Paisley.
The show took place at the Ryman Auditorium, the longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry. The Ryman actually dates back to the 19th century and according to its website, it has hosted appearances by such diverse names as Mae West, Theodore Roosevelt, Mother Maybelle Carter and the Carter Family, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Spike Jones, Hank Williams Sr., Bob Hope and Doris Day.
