I saw Todd at City Winery on Monday the 27th of February. And I must say, it was one of the worst concerts I have every attended. And I have seen plenty. 7 times I have seen Todd over the last 33 years, don't get me wrong I love Todd and appreciate his musical diversity and superb voice, but Jesus H. Christmas the show was painful. He would not shut up, yadda, yadda f-ing yadda. He butchered an old 1960’s classic, "Patches". He had the venue play an old Lorne Greene song over the PA system and more yadda yadda. Almost every guitar solo Todd would try to press an app or what every on his computer to get his guitar sound and it would take a few seconds but while in mid song it feels like a flippin’ week. The Drummer sounded like they got him from the Pub across the street 20 minutes before Gig. When Todd introduced the Band, he said something about the drummer filling in. Yeah Todd, we all knew; you would have to be deaf not to notice! The only thing that kept me walking out besides dropping, then wasting, $80 was that Todd’s voice was so spot on; the guy sure can sing. I left the gig well pissed off. What a shame! I will never spend money again to see Todd Rundgren.

Still A Todd Fan,
