First season I'm glued to the show... probably because I'm old like Steve Tyler and the judges know what they're talking about.

American Idol is clear in it's intent. The show entertains while seeking & tweeking new entertainers
Meanwhile, it draws very substantial "numbers" & makes tons
of money. Appearing on Idol is a boost to anyone ( Daryl Hall in the audience,Smokey Robinson as a
mentor, etc. etc.) I've only seen the MILWAUKEE auditions this year. I will sure-ly tune into TODD'S
NIGHT ! Hopefully many who know little or less,will be inspired to look into a most remarkable artist. Thank you for yet another

Yeah, right...people will believe anything...do you think they just book and produce a major show like American Idol on the fly? It is all planned well in advance...where are the mainstream news sources for this? Oh, a blog ... it must be true ...
All I can tell you is that we have an American Idol former contestant (who I booked before he made the cut in NJ and went to Hollywood) playing at our venue later this month. When we mentioned it during announcements at a few shows, we discovered that it was more of a detriment for potential attendance than a good thing. It's like sleeping w/ the enemy or something. I just wrote the press release for this show and didn't mention American Idol at all. I guess our audience is more liberal and particular about their music than the unschooled American public who doesn't know a Beatle from a Dixie Chick. LOL
I wonder how Todd got the gig.Was it through Steven Tyler?Kinda wonder about that.It's about time Todd get inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.Maybe this show will help build momentum for that to happen.Finally.-Joaquin

A few years ago an IDOL choir of contestants did "I Saw The Light",
& Randy chanted 'Go Todd'. Tyler has been aware of Todd from befor Aerosmith arrived the first time. The American Idol creators can't go wrong with Todd. Like the Hall of Fame, it's a numbers game. hopefully the number of Idol producers,advertisers, host & judges all came to the coclusion...

That was a bad joke. Having Todd sit there in the presence of the guy who lead the show with his introduction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, who's daughter was raised by Todd and then have Randy just say "he's one of the greats, did this or that". Tyler saying nothing! Tyler is in the Hall of Fame and Todd is not. How about acknowledging him by getting him in -- it was a slap in the face as far as I'm concerned and they used Todd probably because no one else cared. Embarrasing!

I sincerely hope this is true! Todd is fantastic, it's about time mainstream America get a chance to see how talented he is and realize he is behind some if their favorite songs, and they didn't even know it! I hope they perform some of his songs and I hope this helps the R&R Hall of Fame stand up and take notice. Would be nice if Liv would sit in the audience for this one...
