TODD not going to be on American Idol

Per Michele Rundgren ...
"Sorry Everyone...I wish I had better news. American Idol decided to go in a different direction with their musical theme so they didn't use Todd. I think we should show them what they missed by focusing on The X Factor!"

Well that damn sucks and sorry about the ugly words.

On the one hand, I'm sorry that TR does not get the recognition and publicity.

On the other hand, "Idol" is a farce anyway...

And now I can keep up my streak of never having watched it!

Well perhaps TR had not been fully vetted by FOX network, untill after
news media across the country made announcement of TR Week On A.I. ?
Milwaukee radio & newspaper had
items about the upcoming event. RR

Was going to watch because Todd was on.When one door closes another door opens.Approach x factor maybe they'll have Todd on.Any way bigger and better things are on Todds horizon. P.S. AI bores me.Who needs the corporate B.S.

Yep, blame it on the right wing! That's an intelligent left wing thing to do....

I'm disappointed that AI missed their opportunity to have a truly creative and talented artist on their program. I guess they are only trying to appeal to the mainstream and Todd's too unique and complex to be understood by the lowest common denominator. Still, I would have loved to see him and I'm not going to watch AI anymore after this. SB

Why does he even want to be on these shows anyway? It's a waste of the time he could be spending writing new music.

I had a funny feeling this wasn't gonna pan out. The irony is that Todd would have pushed those kids to there potential unlike anyone else. His history proves that as a producer he consistently brings out the best in artists. Maybe they don't like the Tyler Rundgren connection. Who knows. At the end of the day...they are truly not worthy of Todd Rundgren.

Todd sure didn't look any too comfy sitting in that audience the night he was introduced.
Somehow I'm not surprised the plan went pffffffft.
