I don't know why you have to distort perfectly good songs. I can imagine (well I don't have to imagine) waiting to hear a song I have loved for years, and then have it broken up and spoken rather than sung...it just breaks my heart. A little off the beaten path is fine, but you sing like an angel....so sing like an angel!
