OUR
APOLOGIES ON THE TECH ISSUES WITH THE SHOW YESTERDAY!
Apparently, if you didn't have the direct link to the
show yesterday you were not able to find it. Turns out this was an iTunes issue
of all things. We rated the show PG-13 as always but all of a sudden iTunes
decided to default those to private shows while they decide on whether to make
them all public or private for some reason. Itunes maybe bought Blog Talk Radio
or maybe they just have some kind of special agreement. We switched the rating
to "Public" and now you can easily find it but here is the direct link just in
case ... http://www.blogtalkradio.com/runt/2015/02/21/todds-dj-for-the-tour--the-mystery-is-solved-on-rr Check
it out if you'd like to hear from the man himself, TR (via a pre-recorded
interview from yesterday), about the new album and tour info! We also played
some song clips from the new album. Todd also discussed a possible Utopia
reunion! FYI, pre-orders for Todd's new album GLOBAL are being taken now by
Toddstore.com.
Speaking of the
Toddstore, they announced that they will be posting more tour dates soon that
included a major hint about the west coast getting some of that touring action.
Stay tuned! To keep up with tour info, visit our Tour page at
http://www.rundgrenradio.com/todd-on-tour.html. Todd's foundation,
Spirit of Harmony, is looking for additional corporate sponsors for their music
education symposium in Little Rock. Todd fans are not expected to fund
everything they do - - - but fans are always welcome to participate of course
--- but if you know of any corporations that might be interested in sponsoring
an event like this please contact jean@spiritofharmony.org or
ed@spiritofharmony.org. Their business will get some good brand exposure and
some nice perks too.
Toddfan Magazine promo issue has been published and
they are currently sell only 30 of the overruns so if you are interested this is
your last chance. The magazine looks great! www.Toddfan.com

Wait a minute. Here, Todd says that State was one of those "experimental" albums that he does "regularly", but upon that album`s release he said pointedly that he didn`t want to do "the most esoteric thing I could think of."
In my view, the bottom line is that State was a collection of disappointingly weak songs to which he didn`t give as much attention as he did to the superior ReProductions.
Now, let`s all wait for the full leak of Global.
Is this like the Paul is Dead thing? because sometimes I get the feeling Todd was replaced after Utopia broke up and it's really "Fodd" because he's done all sorts of things the Real Todd swore never to do. :)
