Whatever idiot booked Utopia as the Tubes' opening act.
On the Utopia/Tubes tour, they alternated who was the opening act, depending on their respective popularities in the city they were playing in. The Tubes were generally the opening act on the East Coast, Utopia usually on the west coast.
This version made my day. I really look at Love Bomb as another Todd record. He wrote quite a bit of the material, glued the whole album together with flawless production. Love this tune as well as the others that he wrote here. I actually like it better than POV.
