Help !! finding a picture for a fan

please contact me if you can help out..

Hey Mike! This is Jeff Ravenscraft. I'm the touring keyboard player for Molly Hatchet. Todd told me that it was a great gig. It is alot of fun. However, while I was out with Molly Hatchet someone broke into my house and took everything, including my prized TR CD's and DVD's. :( I had everything; bootlegs, imports, TR produced items, etc. I'm slowly rebuilding my collection. One thing that I'm looking for above all else is a picture of Todd wearing the yellow tux shirt with white puffy sleeves on the 2nd Wind tour. I have the shirt; and Michele got Todd to sign it at the Arena show in Louisville, KY. last year. The next day I went to DePauw to here Todd's lecture. I had drinks with Todd and Randy afterwards! I have some great photos from the lecture that I can give you. I really need a photo of Todd wearing that yellow tux shirt! Thank you. Jeff

BOSTON MUSICIANS TO PERFORM A NIGHT OF MUSIC BY PROLIFIC SINGER-SONGWRITER & MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST TODD RUNDGREN
FRIDAY, MAY 7TH – REGENT THEATRE, ARLINGTON, MA

On Friday, May 7th at 8pm, “Road to Utopia—A Tribute to Todd Rundgren” will take place at the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford Street, in Arlington, Massachusetts. A stellar nine-piece band, led by Gary Backstrom of Jiggle the Handle, will present an unprecedented evening of music written and recorded by Todd Rundgren—whose career spans more than 40 years.

In celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Todd Rundgren’s first solo album, “Runt,” released in 1970, Backstrom has pulled together some of his favorite Boston area musicians for the occasion. The resulting group—featuring members of The Gordon Stone Band, Jiggle the Handle, Gary Backstrom Band, Another Planet, Uncle Sammy, The Grass Gypsies, Humble Bee, and All the Animals—will be performing music from many of Rundgren’s albums from throughout the last four decades. As to why Todd Rundgren, Backstrom says; “I have found that I have outgrown some past influences such as The Dead and Allman Brothers and feel the need to challenge myself with something totally different. His [Rundgren’s] music touches me on a very deep, unspoken level and I have found a new world of musical inspiration in all different phases of his music.” In addition to Rundgren’s many instrumental albums to choose from, Gary will be performing a song off his album, “A Cappella”, in which every sound on the album is a product of Rundgren’s voice. For this performance Backstrom is bringing in the Family Folk Chorale.

The band includes:
Gary Backstrom - Guitar and lead vox Chris Nemitz - Keys and vox Dave Brunyak – Guitar
Brian O’Connell - Bass Dave Scandurra - Drums Colleen Rusconi Kleya - Backing Vox
Kevin Silvia - Backing Vox Chris Belden - Sax and Flute. TBD

About Todd Rundgren:
A prolific songwriter covering styles of music from Philly Soul, British Pop, Progressive Rock, New wave, ballads, and even some hard rock, Todd Rundgren began his career leading The Nazz in 1967. In 1970 Rundgren put together the band Runt and released its self-titled album. Over the years, in addition to recording and performing his own work, Todd Rundgren has produced and guested on many highly acclaimed albums by artists including; Meatloaf, New York Dolls, Badfinger, Grand Funk Railroad, Hall & Oates, Patti Smith, XTC, Cheap Trick, The Psychedelic Furs, The Band and many others. HESTER CARVALHO

After musical legends such as Jagger, Bowie and Brown, it was finally time for a different master on the stage of Paradiso, Amsterdam: Todd Rundgren, the man who invented his own rules for the musical play in the seventies and who is still releasing new albums and wrote world hits such as I Saw The Light and Can We Still Be Friends. However, he wasn’t playing these songs last night. Inspired by the appreciation of the youngest generation of musicians (such as the British Hot Chip and the French Justice) for the way he used the studio back in his days, Rundgren now only plays songs of the record A Wizard, A true star (1973) which was undervalued in the seventies, on which he played all the instruments himself. His choice is a very idiosyncratic statement: it isn’t the audience’s favorite Something/Anything (1972), but the Wizard which was filled with bizarre twists right until the last groove of the record.

And that is how last night’s performance became a trip back to the seventies that the audience had been waiting for for years, judging by their happy facial expressions. Rundgren did everything in his power to please his audience. He performed with an excellent six-piece band – recruited from his old companions – were spread across the stage on half-cylinders. They played the music exactly as it is on the record: a full sound in which shrill keyboards and growling saxophones were dominating.

The guitar solos were now played by guitarist Jesse Gress, since Rundgren himself was too busy with his costume changes. No less than twelve times he appeared on stage in a new disguise; as an astronaut for the opening song International Feel in a velvet suit in Rock & Roll Pussy, as an air inflated Billy Turf in Da Da Dali. Climax was the disguise of a frivolous Icarus for which he waved across the stage, barefoot, in a harness with feathers. All this without any negative impact on his voice, although the vocal climax was the medley with soul songs during which he had the time to unfold his high crooning sound.

It seemed as if Rundgren was afraid of boring his audience – that’s how much visual spectacle was introduced. This could have been at the expense of the musical exploration, because apart from a single deviating sequence, Wizard was followed seamlessly.

However this record on which Rundgren said to have summarized the “many colors of his imagination” in songs of mostly one minute, traditionally offers sufficient variation.

The 61 year-old Rundgren who addressed the Amsterdam fans with „Hello hippies, old and new”, has shown his imagination in all its facets

London, February 9, 2010 - Maybe you remember someone in a brief and unexpected presence of Sanremo. Only l? Last year, in fact, has joined Patty Pravo on the evening of the festival devoted to duets. But if Todd Rundgren Utopia had called the group that made him famous perhaps not c? Was more surprising? much. Surprised however, to the delight of over 3000 spectators all? Hammersmith Apollo, his re-proposal of an album (A Wizard, A True Star) came out in 1973.

One show (the first of only two European dates) to great effect, with six musicians in full frac white and ten CHANGE? Suit for him to 62 years? still in perfect shape. Histrionic one hand, but above all great music, with his talent also highlighted in its activities? Manufacturer (Patti Smith, Meatloaf, Hall & Oates, New York Dolls, The Tubes and many others).

'A Wizard, A True Star' was a breakthrough album all? Time when USC?: It was a long suite that occupied without interruption the two sides of vinyl. Unlike for? other productions of? age (as of Thick as a Brick Jethro Tull), the disc has a continuous range from a musical genre all? else. The experiments with the synthesizer to psychedelia, from musicals to soul, to rock classic. What today can? seem normal, then it was so revolutionary that it seemed odd.

Onstage with Rundgren concert in London on Saturday evening, one of the musicians who participate? all? original album, Ralph Schuckett on keyboards, joined by Greg Hawkes of the Cars who have been entrusted mainly to the sounds of synthesizers. The rhythm section has seen the drummer Prairie Prince, which in turn was part of The Tubes and the Utopia bassist Kasim Sulton.

The group was completed by guitarist Jesse Gress, with Rundgren and especially from Bobby Strickland to woodwinds, keyboards and percussion, a real vice-elf at the side of Todd, but also an exceptional musician who was entrusted with the musical direction. Rundgren is? also cut a further role, to open his concert in a? another guise, that of the blues musician: The Todd Rundgren? s Johnsons (he, Sulton, Gress and Prince) have played half an hour of classics like "Sweet Home Chicago Crossroads to the surprise of an audience came to listen to everyone? else.

Then, when? started A Wizard, A True Star and Todd? presented astronaut suit, viewers were able to see a musician eager to reinterpret himself for 64 minutes yarns costumes spanning his entire career. The giant American rocker? magician dressed in tails, a biker, a child obese, as a eunuch, he used bright tracksuits. In order to do it? has often had to do without his Gibson guitar, but the voice? in excellent shape. Parts of the suites are very new, from International Feel a Rock? N? Roll pussy, from Flamingo to Hungry for Love, until the grand finale Just One Victory. Audience in raptures, but especially A Wizard, A True Star has been the confirmation of a musical genius.
